This is a very accessible game since it has big icons and buttons. It includes audio instructions in English and Spanish, encouragement for the player, colorful, bright graphic design, and friendly characters.
More than just a mathematical operations game, it also promotes support and cooperation. It is an intuitive and fun educational game.
How does the game work?
During the harvesting period, since the farmer works by himself, he has a lot to do so the farm animals are there to help him collect the fruits and vegetables as soon as possible before they rot.
The game has three levels (adventures). They are represented by the fruits of each season. Each one represents a difficulty level with 5 basic operations, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division:
1. Apples: Numbers from 1-5.
2. Oranges: Numbers from 1-10.
3. Carrots: Numbers from 1-15.
Each operation has a time limit to be solved. If you are able to do it faster, you can save some time and get bonus time at the end of every adventure. With the accelerometer you can put extra fruits into the basket and improve your global score; which is marked by getting gold, silver and bronze medals that you can shared on Facebook.
